Minion Rush – раннер на windows phone с забавными миньонами в главной роли. Отличная новость для тех, кто ожидал новых игр на Windows Phone. Новая игра от Gameloft сегодня ночью появилась в магазинах Windows Phone. Это Minion Rush — бесконечный ранер по мотивах забавного мультфильма. Месяц декабрь был очень хорошим по отношению к приложениям и играм Windows Phone. Много обновлений, скидок и новинок. Minion Rush — одна из 15 игр, обещанных студией Gameloft для платформы Windows Phone. Пока, игра вышла только на Windows Phone 8. Версия для настольных ПК и планшетов под управлением Windows 8 выйдет чуть позже в этом году.
Если Вы знакомы с игрой Temple Run, то MinionRush не станет для Вас откровением. Стоит сказать, что играть в Minion Rush куда более интересно и забавно. Графическое исполнение, звуки (вообще умора), много бонусов, улучшений и возможностей, делают Minion Rush must-have игрой. Игра получила хорошую 3D-графику, но в месте с этим и фирменную проблему Gameloft — FPS довольно низкий, но это вполне играбельно. Gameloft сообщает в пресс-релизе, что Windows-версии Minion Rush получат эксклюзивный ландшафтный режим. Пока, на Windows Phone, этого режима нету, но скриншоты в магазине выполнены именно в ландшафтном режиме. Интересно…

It seems the marathon of new game launches will not end soon on Windows Phone. Yet another popular Android game from Gameloft has now launched on Windows Phone. Minion Rush is an endless running game where a minion—the guy with big eyes and yellow body—wants to become Minion of the Year.
Gameplay :
First it’s an android game port and second it works really well and probably doesn’t need to be implemented again on the WP platform. Like I said, it’s an endless running game where you need to swipe left and right, vertical up to jump and grab some bananas. The first run is in a missile factory where you need to dodge rockets and bombs and slide over the factory pipes to show your stunts.
What sets it really aside from the other games are the animations the character performs. As an example it spins itself completely when jumping over a rocket. These little things really make the gameplay fun. Try tapping the character once the game loads up and it will remind of the Tom The Cat.
At every level you have some missions which you can complete and go ahead with the next. When you complete all of them, you unlock the next world which is Streets and then El Machos Lair.
In-App Purchases & Shop
While the game doesn’t push much over for lot of mini transaction, there are options which you can use and otherwise play it for long and you can use the collected points to buy new stuff. So for example you have Costumes which give you some extra benefits, tokens to buy things banana cannot and stuff like that.
The game is free, doesn’t make you wait to play for all day. So yup, go, download and enjoy it.

Minion Rush is now available for Windows Phone. It was just today that I saw that. The minion Rush icon showed up on the Windows Phone store. I loved the Android version of the game. I was expecting a Windows Phone version but not this soon! Way to go Gameloft.
Difference with the Android Version
The Minion Rush for Windows Phone is very much different form its Android counterpart. Right from the starting up to the place where you end the game by either jumping off the track or hitting an obstacle, the way the mechanisms work is entirely different. The UI is also different. You get a darker shade in the color of tokens and it is very much easier to score. The levels are the same but there is no Minion Beach and no Mall this time. But well, it doesn’t matter. The future updates should bring that. The start up video comes in always. Be sure to either tap it away or you’ll be watching it again and again. There are three levels- Gru’s Lab, Residential Area (instead of Halloween Residential) and El Macho’s lair. You don’t have a separate Locations menu but they are built on to the start screen and are very easy to use rather than the Android version. All the options have changed places and now appear in the bottom of the screen. Shopping and costume selection are also a lot easier. The costumes include Golfer, Magician, Alarm (Bee-Do), Dad, Dancer, Ninja, Maid, Mom, FireFighter, Singer, Worker, Partier, Baby, Referee and the standardly equipped Classic outfit. Only the baby, the partier and the referee can be bought or equipped with Bananas. The rest are to be bought with hard earned tokens. The costly being the Golfer and the cheapest being the Referee. The game is not merely a port but a version developed for WP. There is no Xbox branding and therefore, your achievements wont be stored online. No worries there.
Gameplay/ Graphics
The gameplay and the Graphics are absolutely stunning and at least match or are rather better than the graphics on the Android counterpart. The sensitivity is high and the game is very smooth. There are no lags in the game. The residential area is quite lively and is wonderful to play. The classic outfit doesn’t get so bored easily and is active. I haven’t tried El Macho’s Lair yet but it sure is to be splendid. Meena comes in more often and is sure to keep me occupied. The Drones come in faster and you have to act quick as well.
