Отлично, стираем из своего резюме всё о языке программирования Action Script и переходим на HTML5. И куча web-GUI интерфейсов для управления железом и софтом перестаёт работать! Сисадмины в панике. Нам нужен Flash Player, запустим.
Сначала я попытался найти волшебный Китайский Flash Player, он мне стал выводить какую-то китайскую рекламу. После этого я набрёл на статью:

Для запуска нам понадобится:
- Браузер Chromium 88.0.4285.0 сборка 814251, в котором есть Flash.
- Windows x64 (файл mini_installer.exe)
- Mac (файл chrome-mac.zip)
- Adobe Flash Player 32.0.0.363, в котором нет «часовой бомбы».
- Web Archive
Инструкция рабочая.
Есть сложность, файл fp_32.0.0.363_archive.zip я качал больше часа. Чтобы не наступать на грабли в будущем, я разместил Chromium и Flash Player для Windows в своей сборке программ «Сборка для системного администратора».
Устанавливаем Flash Player (flashplayer32_0r0_363_winpep.msi).
Устанавливаем Chromium.
Запускаем Chromium, идём в настройки:
chrome://settings/content/flash
Активируем опцию «Запретить сайтам запускать Flash (рекомендуется)».
Открываем страничку с Flash.
Нажимаем на «Защищено/Не защищено» слева от URL адреса. Вместо «Flash — Спрашивать (по умолчанию)» ставим «Flash — Разрешить».
Нажимаем Перезагрузить.
Нажимаем Запустить один раз.
Радуемся.

Я не рекомендую использовать Flash на современных ПК без острой на то необходимости. Но, если таковая в наличии — можно использовать следующие подходы.
Открытие Flash в браузере и из локальных SWF файлов в Ruffle
Ruffle — эмулятор Flash Player с открытым исходным кодом, который позволяет работать с Flash контентом как в браузере с помощью соответствующих расширений, так и на локальном компьютере. Дополнительная возможность — конвертация Flash контента на своём сайте «на лету» путём внедрения скрипта от Ruffle.
В зависимости от задачи, выполните следующие действия:
- Зайдите на официальный сайт Ruffle
- Если вам требуется просмотр в браузере — установите расширение (Extension) для Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome или Mozilla Firefox.

Использование старой версии Flash Player
Если вам требуется «нативное» воспроизведение Flash, лучше реализовать это в виртуальной машине, например, в VMWare Workstation или VirtualBox с отдельной установленной Windows (лучше 10 версий до конца 2020 года или 8.1, с отключенными обновлениями):
- Найдите в Интернете, скачайте и установите Flash Player версии 32.0.0.371. Например, три различных версии доступны в Веб-архиве — в виде PPAPI (для Chromium-браузеров), NPAPI (Mozilla Firefox) и ActiveX (для старой версии Edge или Internet Explorer) плагинов.
- Найдите и установите последнюю версию браузера с поддержкой Flash, например, для Chrome это версии до 88-й. Или используйте встроенный браузер (IE 11, Microsoft Edge) с отключенными обновлениями.
