Сегодня очень много времени потерял пытаясь заставить работать приложение XProg Desktop, а именно просмотр информации о подключении и даташитов на Windows 10 x64.

Windows 10 x64 официальная, все обновления стоят.

Далее все действия выполняются только от администратора.

Обязательные условием работы XProg Desktop, это наличие adobe reader 11.

На сайте [Только зарегистрированные пользователи видят ссылки. ] приведена ссылка на скачание пакета adobe 11 MUI.

Скачал, установил, при запуске Adobe Reader он работает менее минуты и вылетает. Оно и ясно, приложение 2012 года, видать не совсем последние версии ОС тянет.

XProg Desktop пишет что ошибка инициализации Adobe и не показывает подключения и даташиты.

Удалил adobe reader 11 и скачал последний adobe reader DC.

XProg Desktop отказался даже запускаться с ошибкой exception eolesyserror in module xprogdesktop.exe

Возвращаю adobe reader 11 и меняю ему файл AcroRd32.dll с версии 11.0.0.379 на 11.0.6.70. [Только зарегистрированные пользователи видят ссылки. ]
Тепербь adobe reader 11 рабоатет и не вылетает, но работает не корректно, ибо сам себя не может поставит в приложения по умолчанию. Поставил руками.

XProg Desktop при открытии схем подключения пишет, что не изветсная ошибка и предлагает открыть закрыть adobe reader.

Неудаляя adobe reader 11 ставлю рядом с ним adobe reader DC (самый свежий). В итоге у меня два adobe reader.

Вуаля, XProg Desktop начал показывать схемы и даташиты, причем открывает их в adobe reader DC.

Решил удалить adobe reader 11 и XProg Desktop снова перестал работать.

Эта проблема скорей всего будет у тех у кого свежие ОС.

Для запуска XProg Desktop как то использует adobe reader 11, но в моей ОС XProg Desktop не смог открывать подключения и даташиты через него, поэтому ему нужен adobe reader DC.

Вроде все описал. Убил пол дня на это.

Оставлю тут для истории, может кому пригодится в будущем.
