Каждый хочет знать, как работает любимое оружие, но не всегда это можно выяснить на практике. Даже если бы законы разрешали приобрести желаемое, где достать музейный ППШ или, например, ружье Дегтярева? Не говоря уже о противотанковой пушке или, чего доброго, БМП.
Так что все любители оружия, в той или иной степени, теоретики. Подробным, исчерпывающим источником сведений о конструкции оружия как были, так и остаются патенты и чертежи, но, чтобы их изучать нужно инженерное образование или хотя бы соответствующий опыт.
Благодаря компании Noble Empire, теперь можно обойтись без них. Разработчики оружейного симулятора World of Guns: Gun Disassembly вот уже 8 лет с удивительным вниманием к деталям и дотошностью создают трехмерные интерактивные модели оружия.
World of Guns: Gun Disassembly не просто компьютерная игра, это мультиплатформенная интерактивная энциклопедия, которая будет работать и на компьютере и на смартфоне. Я рассмотрю симулятор на примере версий для Windows и Android OS, но ничто не мешает пользоваться World of Guns на iPhone, Linux или Mac.
Первое, что видишь после запуска World of Guns, окно выбора предпочтительной модели оружия с указанием сложности конструкции. На примере этого оружия, программа наглядно продемонстрирует основные возможности и покажет элементы управления.
Конечно, хочется начать со знакомого по армейским будням АК-47. Казалось бы, что в нем сложного, но как часто вы разбирали автомат вплоть до замыкателя газовой трубки? Для первого знакомства с World of Guns: Gun Disassembly лучше подойдет классический двухзарядный карманный пистолет – Деринджер.
Графическое оформление программы на высоком уровне, а учитывая то, что для ее работы на компьютере достаточно 1 гигабайта оперативной памяти и 200 Мегабайт на жестком диске, на высочайшем. По меркам современных настольных систем, требования совершенно незначительные. Благодаря скромным аппетитам World of Guns хорошо работает и на смартфонах, даже самых бюджетных. Модели оружия загружаются по одной, так что программа не занимает в памяти устройства ровно столько места, сколько нужно.
Сначала программа объяснит основы управления. На ПК за него отвечает главным образом, мышь, на смартфонах достаточно свайпов по экрану. Затем World of Guns продемонстрирует неполную разборку оружия и предложит проделать обратную операцию самостоятельно, по памяти.
Но это только начало. Следующим шагом будет полная разборка Деринджера, от первого до последнего винтика. Это несложная задача: 29 деталей – на удивление лаконичная конструкция.
В процессе сборки/разборки обращаешь внимание на то, что элементы пистолета подписаны. Интерфейс, как видно, изначально затачивался под персональные компьютеры и на смартфонах кажется устаревшим, но функции выполняет исправно. Из явных недостатков я могу выделить англоязычные названия некоторых деталей оружия. Такой подход не вызывает вопросов в случае иностранных образцов, но детали с английскими названиями попадаются и у российских «стволов».
На примере Деринджера программа демонстрирует режимы, делающие World of Guns: Gun Disassembly отличным инструментом для изучения принципов действия оружия. Многоуровневые «рентгеновские» фильтры, открывают взгляду нюансы внутреннего устройства того или иного механизма.
Предусмотрен контрастный режим «пластик», выделяющий элементы конструкции на общем фоне. Модель полностью анимирована. Это значит, что вы не просто увидите, что находится внутри и пронаблюдаете за тем, как происходят выстрелы, перезарядка, смена режимов огня, но и рассмотрите, какие функции выполняет каждая деталь механизма.
Так за движением отдельных элементов и их функциональной ролью можно проследить воочию с замедлением и с любого удобного ракурса. Мало того, анимацию можно поставить на паузу и перемотать.
Для отдельных образцов доступны «обвесы» — аутентичные планки, прицелы, подствольные аксессуары.
После знакомства с первой моделью оружия открывается все богатство функциональных возможностей программы.
В первую очередь, речь об обширном списке оружия, представленном на главном экране в виде разветвленного дерева моделей от винтовки Мосина и до M134 «Minigun».
В качестве дополнения, в программе доступно несколько автомобилей, пара мотоциклов, самолет, БМП и даже шесть скелетов. На момент написания этих строк насчитывалось 184 модели (разработчики добавляют пару новых каждый месяц). И все они разбираются до винтика.
Один из самых простых вариантов — пистолет Либератор, состоит из 19 деталей. FN SCAR — из 193 частей. Сверхсложные конструкции, например, пулемет Браунинг M2, насчитывают более 350 деталей. А если вам хочется поломать голову, соберите БМП-3 – всего лишь 717 элементов.
Тут уместно будет заметить, что в World of Guns: Gun Disassembly включен соревновательный элемент. Быстрая, безошибочная сборка поощряется при помощи значков «достижений» и начисления баллов опыта, которые тратятся на доступ к новым образцам оружия.
Есть тут и мини игра на тренировку визуальной памяти, предлагающая опознать оружие по внешнему виду. Самым сложным, на мой взгляд, оказался режим Daily Puzzle, где необходимо определить, какому из двух образцов оружия принадлежит конкретная деталь. Результаты прохождения этих тестов попадают в глобальную таблицу рекордов.
Единственный слабый элемент World of Guns – «стрельбище». Трехмерный тир, который в теории должен дать «почувствовать» оружие, понять, как оно ведет себя в руках. Сами понимаете, с впечатлениями от стрельбы из настоящего оружия такой суррогат сравниться не способен в принципе, но в качестве развлекательного дополнения, виртуальный тир не плох.
World of Guns: Gun Disassembly распространяется бесплатно, по модели Free-to-play, но если не хочется последовательно изучать весь арсенал справочника, вы можете получить быстрый доступ к любой модели оружия за дополнительную плату, открыть определенную группу «стволов» или разом все доступные модели.
Каждый образец оружия снабжен справкой с краткой информацией о предназначении и истории разработки, основными тактико-техническими характеристиками. Для желающих знать больше предусмотрены ссылки, ведущие к видео-демонстрациям оружия, общеобразовательной Википедии, специализированной энциклопедии оружия ModernFirearms и на такой сайт, как IMFBD. Там собран перечень кинокартин, где фигурирует конкретная модель оружия. Изучая эти ресурсы узнаешь немало интересного.
Подытоживая вышесказанное, World of Guns: Gun Disassembly – это интереснейшая интерактивная энциклопедия, симулятор с элементами компьютерной игры, предназначенный для всех интересующихся тематикой огнестрельного оружия.
