Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 17133 for PCs enrolled in the Fast ring. This is a minor update, but it’s a significant release, because according to a previous report, this is the build considered final build (also known as release to manufacturer (RTM)) that will eventually rollout to everyone as the Spring Creators Update.
Windows 10 build 17133, according to the company, only delivers three fixes to address problems with BitLocker, resolution, and Microsoft Edge. Also, as expected, this flight doesn’t contain any known issues.
Although we’re only days away from the final release, Microsoft still isn’t sharing the exact release date or officially name. However, we’re expecting the new version to launch officially during the Microsoft April Patch Tuesday, which is scheduled to rollout in April 10, 2018, and using the “Spring Creators Update” marketing name.

Hello Windows Insiders!
Today, we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17133 (RS4) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring.
Just like in Build 17128, you will also notice that the watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop has disappeared in Build 17133. Again, we are in the phase of checking in final code to prepare for the final release.
General changes, improvements, and fixes for PC
- We fixed an issue resulting in certain devices with BitLocker enabled unexpectedly booting into BitLocker recovery in recent flights.
- We fixed an issue resulting in not being able to change the display resolution when there were 4 or more monitors connected, due to the confirmation prompt hanging when you selected “Keep changes”.
- We fixed an issue where clicking suggested search terms when typing in the Microsoft Edge URL bar didn’t do anything.
Known issues
- There are currently no major known issues for this flight however if any issues are discovered based off Insider feedback, we’ll add them here.

Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring can get their hands on another new build today. Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 preview build 17133, which hit both the Fast and Slow rings just last week, is now available for Release Preview Insiders.
The build comes as Microsoft is winding down testing for the Windows 10 spring update, which is believed to be in line for an April 10 rollout, though Microsoft hasn’t officially confirmed any dates just yet. As with 17133’s Slow ring rollout, not everyone in Release Preview will be immediately targeted to receive the update. However, you can initiate it manually by heading to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Microsoft says it is aiming for full availability by April 9.
Here’s a recap of the small list of fixes in this build:
- We fixed an issue resulting in certain devices with BitLocker enabled unexpectedly booting into BitLocker recovery in recent flights.
- We fixed an issue resulting in not being able to change the display resolution when there were 4 or more monitors connected, due to the confirmation prompt hanging when you selected «Keep changes».
- We fixed an issue where clicking suggested search terms when typing in the Microsoft Edge URL bar didn’t do anything.
If you’re on the Release Preview ring, build 17133 should be available now as «Feature update for Windows 10, version 1803.»
