Usage: efibooteditor [options] Boot Editor for (U)EFI based systems. Options: -h, --help Displays help on commandline options. --help-all Displays help including Qt specific options. -v, --version Displays version information. -e, --export <FILE> Export configuration. -d, --dump <FILE> Dump raw EFI data. -i, --import <FILE> Import configuration from JSON (either from export or raw dump). -f, --force Force import, don't ask for confirmation.

EasyUEFI — удобная утилита для редактирования загрузочного меню операционных систем Windows на основе EFI/UEFI. Технология UEFI все чаще используется разработчиками и производителями ПК как замена известного всем интерфейса BIOS, позволяя более гибко и тонко управлять параметрами запуска операционки.
Этот инструмент дает возможность комфортно добавить новые записи в загрузочное меню, создать их резервные копии, отредактировать текущие или вообще удалить ненужные. Кроме того, есть такой режим, как запуск операционки с требуемыми параметрами, при этом запуск может быть как разовым, так и на постоянной основе.
Конечно, эта программа рассчитана на пользователей, которые уже имеют некоторый опыт работы с загрузочным меню Windows, т.к. даже самые незначительные необдуманные действия могут привести к проблемам в запуске ОС или сбоях в ее работе. Зато продвинутые пользователи имеют возможность создавать свои собственные сборки загрузочного диска для операционки Windows на основе WinPE, что может пригодиться для восстановления поврежденной системы.
Примечание. Обратите внимание, что программа EasyUEFI устанавливается и запускается только на тех компьютерах, которые аппаратно могут поддерживать технологию EFI/UEFI. В противном случае Вы будете оповещены о невозможности работы с приложением.

All the latest computers are now coming with UEFI based technology. The UEFI (unified extensible firmware interface) is supposed to replace the older BIOS based motherboards. It has many features that make working in computers safer and more secure. It allows your Windows PC to boot faster and prevents bootkit infections and supports hard disk drives larger than 2 TB (roughly 2000 GB). It also controls the boot order of your hard disks and operating systems. Although you can always enter the UEFI interface during your computer’s power up process, the EasyUEFI software provides you an easier way to edit the boot order of devices or add a new boot entry to the UEFI.
The EasyUEFI is a Windows application and is available both for the 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. The application, as expected, runs only on Windows versions which support UEFI (Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1). After the installation, when you launch it, it checks for the latest updates and shows you the UEFI entries as well as the available disk partitions in your computer.
You can select any one of these entries and click on Up or Down buttons to change their order. You can delete, edit or create new boot entries as well. There is an option to backup and restore the entries too. But you have to be very very careful, as deleting important boot entries can make your computer unbootable.
Typically when you choose to create a new entry, you have to specify the entry type (e.g. Windows), the target partition selectable from the list and a description for the entry. You can add the entries for both the Windows and Linux operating systems that have UEFI support.
In addition to managing the UEFI entries for your computer, it can also create WinPE images for Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. In order to create the WinPE image, you can select Tools → Create Bootable Disk from the menubar. It will start a slow process of building the WinPE image. After this WinPE ISO image is created, it can be used to create a bootable USB flash disk.
Conclusion: The EasyUEFI tool can be used to change the boot order, create, delete, edit, backup and restore boot entries. You can also specify a single use boot entry for the next restart. This tool can also build a bootable WinPE image that can be used for creating bootable USB disk.

EFI Boot Editor is a free and open-source UEFI/EFI boot menu editor for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. It provides a graphical user interface, and can be used by anyone who wants to make some modifications to the boot manager of operating systems.
EFI Boot Editor provides you with a GUI for both checking your current boot settings and making modifications. It enables any user to view or change the boot manager through a pleasant, understandable and well-organized interface. It allows you to check the boot information of Windows Boot Manager, EFI USB devices, network and CDROM/DVD. For each boot item, you can view its index, description, path, category, attributes, timeout, etc. You also have the option to change the format to BASE64, HEX, UTF-8/UTF-16, and more.
Whenever you want to edit the boot options for your machine, you need to use the default command-line tool included with Windows – BCDEdit. And, if you want to use this tool, you need to reboot your computer, enter the Advanced Boot Options, and select Repair to access from there. If you want to make some modifications to Boot Manager for EFI system architecture and don’t want to reboot the system, or maybe don’t have an administrator account, then you can try EFI Boot Editor.
