I have covered a number of elegant skin packs in the past, which have given users the look and feel of alternative operating systems and tweaked their Windows 7 desktop, to make it appear more relevant to certain occasions like Christmas, New Year, etc. While most of the skin packs reviewed earlier have been developed by Hamed, recently I found another great skin pack by another developer, nicknamed “the-dhruv-8”. Xbox 360 Transformer Pack is a Windows 7 skin pack that bring UI elements of Xbox 360, as well as Windows 8 (including the Metro UI) to your desktop. This skin pack does not require any complex theme patching and can be easily installed with the help of an installation wizard, just like other skin pack that I have reviewed earlier, (including the New Year 2012 Skin Pack, Christmas Skin Pack, iOS Skin Pack, Mango Skin Pack, Zune Skin Pack, Android Skin Pack, Gnome Skin Pack, Mac OS X Lion Skin Pack and Windows 8 Skin Pack).

Note: Please bear in mind that such skin packs can be difficult to uninstall and may not be removed by using system restore. Before installing the Xbox 360 Transformer Pack, make sure that you have  created a system backup of your computer. Also check if UAC (User Account Control) is disabled.
