Откройте «Редактор реестра» командой regedit как было показано выше.
Перейдите к ключу HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU и измените значение параметра UseWUServer с «1» на «0» (см. шаги 4-5 в предыдущем способе).
Откройте от имени администратора «Командную строку» или «Windows PowerShell» и последовательно выполните три эти команды:
net stop wuauserv
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wups2.dll
net start wuauserv

Если избавиться от ошибки 0x8024001d не получается, можно решиться на радикальную меру — сброс Windows 10 к исходному состоянию.

How to Fix RSAT Not Installing on Windows 10/11?

Fix 1: Install RSAT via Windows PowerShell

When RSAT install failed, you can consider reinstalling it manually via Windows PowerShell. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1. Open Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Step 2. Type the following command and hit Enter:

Get-WindowsCapability -Name RSAT* -Online | Select-Object -Property Name, State

Step 3. Copy the name of the RSAT feature you want to install and then run the following command:

Add-WindowsCapability -Online -Name Tool-Name

Don’t forget to replace Tool-Name with the feature name you copied just now.

Fix 2: Edit Local Group Policy Editor

Also, you can configure Local Group Policy Editor to download optional features from Windows Update. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1. Right-click on Start icon and select Run.

Step 2. Type gpedit.msc and hit Enter to run Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 3. Expand Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Windows Update for Business.

Step 4. In the right pane, find Enable optional updates and double-click on it.

Step 5. Under Enable optional updates, tick Enabled and hit OK. After completion, check if RSAT not installing vanishes.

Fix 3: Modify Windows Registry

To fix RSAT not installing, another way is to tweak Windows Registry. Here’s how to do it:

If you mess with Windows Registry or remove essential registry accidentally, it will damage your system. Therefore, before making any changes to Registry Editor, you can either create a backup of Windows Registry or create a restore point in case there is anything wrong with the registry.

Step 1. Press Win + R to open the Run box.

Step 2. Type regedit and hit Enter to launch Registry Editor.

Step 3. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU

Step 4. In the right pane, right-click on UseWUServer and select Modify.

Step 5. Set the Value data from 1 to 0 and save the changes.

Step 6. Quit Registry Editor and restart your computer.

Fix 4: Reset This PC

The Remote Server Administration Tools (RSATs) are very helpful package for system administrators to manage other systems at their workplace. Well, few days ago we tried to install RSATs on a Windows 10 running machine, using same procedure as mentioned in above article. But for an anonymous reason, the installation of RSATs on Windows 10 failed. Here, the Windows Update Standalone Installer given us following error:

The update is not applicable to your computer.

Actually we received this error, because we tried to install a non-English (US) package downloaded from MSDN Subscription. Although, atm we received this error, only English (US) package has to work on Windows 10. So in case if you’re facing this issue, you just need to download English (US) package only and it would install without any problem.

However, if you still want to install the package currently giving you error, use this workaround:

FIX : Cannot Install Remote Server Administration Tools (RSATs) In Windows 10

1. Copy the downloaded WindowsTH-KB2693643-x64.msu (64-bit edition) or WindowsTH-KB2693643-x86.msu (32-bit edition) file to C:\Temp.

2. Open administrative or elevated Command Prompt.

3. Type following commands one-by-one and hit Enter key after each command:

For 32-bit editions:

cd C:\Temp

WUSA WindowsTH-KB2693643-x86.msu /extract:c:\temp

Dism.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\Temp\WindowsTH-KB2693643-x86.cab

For 64-bit editions:

cd C:\Temp

WUSA WindowsTH-KB2693643-x64.msu /extract:c:\temp

Dism.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\Temp\WindowsTH-KB2693643-x64.cab

FIX Cannot Install Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) In Windows 10

Now wait for few moments to execute the command operation successfully. Once completed, you’ll be notified with The operation completed successfully message.

You can now go to Turn Windows Features On or Off window (search for it in Windows to get into it) and verify that the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSATs) tools are installed and can be located there. You can avail the package services by navigating to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Remote Desktop Services.

При установке
RSAT windows 10 через *.msu установка завершается успешно, но обновление не появляется в установленных и не добавляются компоненты.
Во время установки через Dism.exe

в лог падает такая ошибка

Судя по статье необходимо установить английский как системный, но предложенные там пакеты не подходят к мой версии windows. При установке через панель управления язык не становится языком интерфейса.

Собственно вопрос Если все же удастся найти языковой пакет для моей системы, RSAT установится, или все равно необходимо ждать выхода RSAT мультиязычный под релиз 10 подоконника.
Если у кого есть ссылка на языковой пакет для 10240 буду весьма благодарен.

RSAT (Remote Server Administration Tools) for Windows 10 64bit (WindowsTH-KB2693643-x64.msu) installs without any errors but is nowhere to be found on a system. The only indication that something went wrong is the fact that installation completes in couple of seconds. Normally RSAT takes much longer to install.

Resolution

It seems that at this time, in order to install RSAT you must have US English Language Pack on your system (I’m sure Microsoft will fix this at some point). Obviously, if your Windows version is EN-US already, this doesn’t apply as you already have US language pack. In my case Windows version was EN-GB. To install the US language pack:

Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language
Click on Add a language and add English (United States)
Under English (United States) you should see “Language pack available” (if you don’t see this, check Note at the bottom of this article)

Click on Options and on the next page you will see an option to download and install the Language Pack
Restart Computer if prompted

Another way to install a Language Pack is via Control Panel > Language > Add a language > Options

After installing the US English language pack, try running RSAT installer again. This time it should take much longer and your tools should appear in the Start Menu.

You can disable not required tools via Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off
