Windows 2000 was a modernization of Windows NT 4.0 which brought many of the desktop changes, including Active Desktop, to Microsoft’s Windows NT line. Four editions of Windows 2000 were released, Professional, Server, Advanced Server, Datacenter Server. Improvements over NT 4.0 include new Accessibility Options, increased language and locale support, NTFS 3.0, the Encrypting File System and Active Directory. Windows 2000 was first planned to replace both Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0 although using the NT kernel for consumer and professional editions would not happen until Windows 2000’s successor, Windows XP.

Здравствуйте! всем! дорогие отзывчики! Когда ноутбук покупал в 2021 года по названию фирмы Lenove R51 модель IBM он подходят к windows xp на жёстком диске определяется windows 2000 и XP ну на так жем на VISTA операционной системой. Чем противной который я хотел установить windows 2000 professional эту дрань, установил а после этого драйвера установил и не отображается интернет и не возможно подключить wifi к 2000 windows. Поэтому дорогие читатели лучше внимательно подумайте о установке!… и тогда можете устанавливать без всяких драйверов а просто установку полнустью по всем виндовсам.

Эта система предназначена для дубовых операций,там где XP виснет, она работает.А многие современные программКИ уже рассчитаны под XP.

Это не сама операционная система! А всего лишь пакет обновления только к вин2000! СамаWin2000 SP4 Pro весит около 500мб!
