If the computer can boot to the Lenovo UEFI hardware diagnostics then run the custom tests > take pictures or the tests performed with results > post images or share links into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

I’m not sure why you’re not being directed to use the «ordinary» procedure. If you’re prepared to do a clean install (which erases the C: drive), I’d just use the Media Creation Tool method.

What do you see when the computer is booted to safe mode: (shift + restart):
What do you see when the computer is booted to the Windows Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows iso)?
Had you tried only booting to Windows 11 or did you also try Windows 10?
See if the computer will or will not boot using:
Memtest86:

Were you able to clean install Windows 11?
Were you able to boot Windows and open disk management to post an image into this thread (post #51)?
Can you boot to either a Windows 11 or Windows 10 MCT (Windows iso)?
Or do all boot methods fail from USB ports? (Ubuntu, Memtest86, Hirens, Kyhi, Bob.Omb’s, Gandalf’s, Sergei, etc.

When the computer is booted to the BIOS is there a menu option to open on board default Lenovo UEFI hardware diagnostics?
NO !
Were you able to clean install Windows 11?
Yes and it was running for 2 days just fine untill the popup saying we need to reset your computer and there was no box to check saying NO, it just did it on it’s own !
Were you able to boot Windows and open disk management to post an image into this thread (post #51)?
That was from my computer NOT from the Lenovo !!
Can you boot to either a Windows 11 or Windows 10 MCT (Windows iso)?
Not any that i have tried so far !

bobkn, the Media Creation Tool did not work eith, i keep getting the message in my 1st post (see the picture)
I don’t follow.
Do you mean that you haven’t been able to get the PC to boot from a USB drive?
There are normally a couple of ways of doing that.
One is to go into the BIOS settings and set USB as the first boot priority.
The other way is to use a hotkey to set a one-time boot order. (That’s my preferred method.) Have you posted what Lenovo model it is? That might make it likelier to find you the correct hotkey. It may be F12.
Maybe it’s time for you to get some in-person help. Trying to talk someone through this in a forum is a painfully slow process.

My understanding is that during Windows setup neither the keyboard nor the mouse are working.
As a result, we have created a bootable USB Flash Drive (UFD) that includes a an unattended answer file. That UFD has been successfully created now. My next step would be to boot from that UFD now!!!
In any case, that UFD is configured to bypass any Win 11 specific system requirements just in case this system does not meet all requirements. Even more important, for now, is the fact that this unattended will take us up to the screen where the disks in the system are shown, similar to the picture I posted in posting #72 of this thread. By getting to that screen I hope to know what drive to install Windows onto. Maybe there is only one drive in which case we would want to install to drive 0.
If the mouse and / or keyboard is still not working at that screen, then my next step would be very simple:
Simply replace the autounattend.xml answer file on the root of the UFD with another one that specifies the correct disk to install onto. This would be 100% unattended installation so that no mouse or keyboard access is needed at all to completely install Win 11. The thinking is that hopefully with a complete installation of Windows it will be able to detect and use the mouse and or keyboard.
I’m following this method because I have a similar experience with a system. I have a cheap Windows tablet from CHUWI that behaves similar to this. During setup of Windows, neither the mouse nor the touchscreen works, although the keyboard does. So I made a completely automated unattended answer file for it and when that is does running and Windows is installed on the system, it sees all the devices just fine.
