Работа геймпада в ОС по умолчанию только мешает. Ведь геймпад теперь по сути эмулирует клаву + мышь! Управляешь курсором мыши стиком к примеру, а в это время происходят действия по умолчанию, прямоугольник выбора бегает куда попало по настройкам и выполняются не те действия)) В других приложениях/браузере/просто на рабочем столе все нормально. Именно в Меню Пуск или же Настройках либо приложении Xbox на ПК начинается беспредел. Курсор мышки на одном ярлыке, прямоугольник где-то в другом месте, нажимаешь кнопку А (эмуляция левой кнопки мыши) для выбора ярлыка или действия, а происходит совсем другое. Не знаю в общем как объяснить). Надеюсь более менее понятно объяснил. Спасибо и простите за много букв))
PC gaming vs console gaming is fun debate to have if you want to try and lose a few friends. What fewer people might argue over is whether you ought to stick to a keyboard and mouse to play games, or use a controller. If you prefer controllers, you can get an Xbox controller or just use an ordinary, off-brand one. If you use an ordinary controller, you can make it emulate an Xbox controller. If you’ve got the real deal though, you should have fun playing games on your PC. The Xbox controller rarely has problems. That said, sometimes the Xbox controller might appear as a mouse and/or keyboard in Windows. If that happens, it’s difficult to use it to play games. Here’s one way to fix an Xbox controller detected as mouse and keyboard.
This may occur for any number of reasons. Try uninstalling the driver for the controller and installing it again to see if that fixes the problem. You can uninstall the driver from the Device Manager in Windows 10. If that doesn’t work then the problem might have to do with Steam.
Steam is great for the most part and its PC app tries to play nice with Xbox controllers. In fact, it has a dedicated setting for it. Unfortunately, that particular setting might be why an Xbox controller appears as a mouse or keyboard.
Open Steam and from the Steam menu item, go to the app’s settings.
In the Settings window, select the Controller tab. Click the ‘General Controller Settings’ button. Alternatively, just click the controller button at the top right next to the minimize window button.
On the general settings screen, uncheck the ‘Xbox configuration support’. This should fix the problem and Windows will stop thinking your controller is a mouse or a keyboard.
This fix might have a side effect though; if you use the controller to play Steam games, it might not work well. If that’s the case then you will need to toggle this setting depending on the type of game you’re playing i.e. enable it when you play a Steam game, and disable it otherwise.
For good measure, restart your system after disabling this option. If the problem still persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the device again, as well as removing/unplugging the controller and connecting it again.
This should work for an Xbox controller but it’s also worth trying if you’re using a different type of controller and experiencing the same problem with it.

Fix 1. Check for Hardware Issues
Checking for hardware issues should be your first call. You may be experiencing the problem because the gaming controller is faulty. This may be mechanical damage, particularly if the controller was dropped and landed hard. In such a case, you may need a new gaming controller to fix the problem. In some instances, a faulty mouse will also trigger the problem, and you may also need to replace your mouse.
Before purchasing a replacement, you may want to test the controller on a different computer. This is a good way to rule out other causes, such as malware infection.
Fix 2. Disable the Enable the Steam Overlay While In-Game Feature
Steam’s Overlay gives you access to many features in-game. You may access your chat, friends list, and the Steam store. However, some of these features may cause conflicts with gaming controllers as they are not always compatible with every controller, which may cause unusual behavior.
Step 1: Click the Windows Search icon on the Taskbar, type Steam, and click the Steam application.

Step 4: Restart the Steam application for your changes to take effect.
Fix 3. Enable the Disable Steam Input Feature
The Input feature allows the Steam app to customize gaming controller input. This is a valuable feature because it allows you to use controllers not natively supported by the game. However, misconfiguring the Steam Input feature may cause abnormal behavior and make the gaming controller act like a mouse on Windows 11. You need to disable this feature:
Step 1: Open Steam, click the Library menu, right-click the problematic game, and click Properties.
Step 2: Click Controller on the right pane, expand Use default settings, and click Disable Steam Input.
Step 3: Restart the Steam application.
Fix 4. Turn off Xbox Configuration Support
Xbox Configuration Support on Steam is another feature that allows controller customization. Since misconfiguration may cause the gaming controller to act like a mouse on Windows 11, you may disable this setting to prevent Steam from interfering with the controller’s inputs.
Step 1: Click the Steam menu in the upper-right corner, and click Settings from the menu that appears.
Step 2: On the left pane, click Controller, and on the right, click General Controller Settings.

Step 2: On the left pane, click Controller, and on the right, click Desktop Configuration.

When you use your controller as a mouse, actions taken on the controller are automatically interpreted as mouse actions on Windows. The solution is to prevent the controller from controlling the mouse cursor by disabling it as a mouse from the Control Panel.
Step 1: Click the Windows Search icon on the Taskbar, type control, and click the Control Panel option.
Step 2: Set the View by option to Category, then click Hardware and Sound.
Step 3: Under the Device and Printers section, click Mouse.
Step 4: Click the Hardware tab, select Mouse from the Devices list, and click the Properties button at the bottom right.
Step 5: Navigate to the Driver tab, click the Disable Device button, and click OK on both windows.

1. Disable the Xbox configuration support option

- Remove the checkmark next to the Xbox Configuration Support option and click the Back icon.

However, if you want to disable it for a single game, follow these steps:
- Launch the Steam client, click Library, and locate the game from the home screen.
- Right-click it and select Properties.
- On the Properties window, go to the General tab and turn off the toggle switch next to the Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game option.
- Restart Steam to save the changes.

- On the Mouse Properties window, select the mouse related to the controller. Generally, it appears by the name AlphaMouse; select it and click Properties.
- On the following window, go to the Driver tab and click the Disable device button.
- Click OK on both windows to save changes & deactivate the mouse emulation.
You can also use the same steps to disable the controller as a keyboard if it is acting like one. All you need to do is click the Keyboard link under the Devices and Printers option, choose the keyboard, and Disable it.
4. Choose the Disable Steam Input option
- Press the Windows key, type steam, and click Open.
- Go to Library, locate, and right-click the game to select Properties.
- On the Properties window, click the Controller tab.
- Select the Disable Steam Input option from the drop-down to turn off mouse emulation.
Turning the Steam input on or off can also help you fix other controller issues, like the controller not working on your PC.
5. Modify the Desktop Configuration settings
- Launch the Steam client, then from the top left corner, click Steam and select Settings.
- Next, navigate to Controller on the Steam Settings window.
- Click the Desktop Configuration button.
- If you see the same image as below, then the Joystick Mouse is enabled; change it to None and close Steam. Now check if the controller moves the mouse pointer.
Always keep your Steam application updated and establish the controller connection properly, especially when using a wired one.

Доброго времени суток! Дано: ПК под виндовс 10 х64 1803, проводной геймпад от х-бокс 360, гвинт. Проблема заключается в том, что иногда при запуске игры не отображается указатель мыши, подсказки кнопок соответствуют геймпадовской схеме управления. При этом сам мышиный курсор остаётся активным — при наведении «на ощупь» подсвечиваются элементы интерфейса, по ним можно кликать с тем же результатом, что и при клавомышиной раскладке. Если же геймпад выдернуть из порта, то мышиный курсор появляется и подсказки переключаются на клавомышь.
Проблема возникает и исчезает спонтанно — возникала месяца 2 назад, самопроизвольно исчезала, пару дней назад возникла снова. Что можно сделать для её решения?

Тысячу раз на это жаловался, представители компании мне в вежливой форме ответили, что им всё равно, и отключайте свой геймпад от компьютера сами.

Причём изначально всё было нормально, проблема возникла на одном из патчей ОБТ.
И тут я понял, что это, оказывается, из-за того, что я руль не отключал… -_-

Где-то в других темах мелькала инфа, что «ничего не поделаешь, только отключать руками геймпад». Могу ошибаться, но, КМК, техподдержка не давала 100% работающих альтернативных решений. Однако вы все равно можете им написать (ссылка у меня в подписи).

Ситуация, которую Вы описываете, обычно возникает, когда при входе в игру подключено такое оборудование, как джойстики, рули и т. д.
Если у Вас возникает такая ошибка также и с обычным геймпадом, боюсь, что в данный момент единственным решением будет отключение геймпада перед входом в ГВИНТ.Мы планируем исправление таких моментов в будущем.

Проблема вроде как самопроизвольно решилась то ли 27.05, то ли 28.05. Заметил, что при проблеме мышиный курсор появлялся на пару секунд во время загрузки загрузочного экрана (сорри за тавтологию — до появления прогресс-бара в правом нижнем углу загрузочного экрана), затем исчезал. При перехваченном геймпадом управлении (как в описании проблемы) при движениях мышью иногда появлялись подсказки, соответствующие клавомышиной схеме управления, но сам мышиный курсор не отображался — возможно проблема именно в переходе схемы управления от геймпад-ориентированной к клавомыши, но не наоборот — там всё работает более-менее верно.
UPD 30.05.2018
В общем, погорячился я с заявлением, что проблема самоликвидировалась — сегодня она опять вернулась в полный рост. Как отмечал ранее, причина возникновения — неизвестна, ещё вчера всё работало нормально и никаких проблем с схемой управления не было.
