Герой обзора обладает всей базовой функциональностью, которую ожидаешь увидеть в бюджетном устройстве. Аппаратная компоновка выглядит неплохо и должна обеспечить нормальное быстродействие. Радуют металлический корпус, высокое разрешение, наличие слота для карт памяти до 64 Гбайт, емкая батарея и поддержка мобильной передачи данных.

Модель Ursus 9PV 3G выполнена в неразборном корпусе из пластиковых и металлических элементов. Всю переднюю панель занимает стекло, под которым расположен экран.
Заднюю часть покрывает матовый металл. По краям расположены пластиковые вставки с различными функциональными элементами. Металл приятный на ощупь, но достаточно маркий (отпечатки стираются с трудом). Пластик матовый и чем-то особенным не отличается.
Окантовка двух торцов частично металлическая, задняя панель наплывает на боковые грани.
По нынешним меркам толщина корпуса средняя – 8.5 мм. Торцы и углы задней панели планшета сглажены. Держать устройство двумя руками удобно.
Аппарат получил универсальную компоновку и не рассчитан на использование в какой-то определенной ориентации. Все кнопки и разъемы расположились на торцах.
Высота устройства составляет 240 мм, а ширина 181 мм. Рамки вокруг дисплея широкие, что способствует удобству хвата и увеличивает размеры корпуса.
Масса планшета составляет 600 г. По этому параметру он ощущается нормальным для своих размеров, хотя можно было сделать и поменьше.
На задней панели размещены логотипы и основная информация о модели.
С одной стороны экрана расположена фронтальная камера. Индикатора заряда и событий не предусмотрено.
На лицевой стороне аппарата вокруг экрана больше нет никаких элементов. Отсутствуют и сенсорные кнопки, они наэкранные.
Основная камера находится в углу задней панели на пластиковой вставке. Модуль камеры почти не выступает над уровнем корпуса.
Не запутаться в элементах гаджета новичку позволят понятные маркировки, нанесенные белой краской.
На противоположном краю задней панели разместили основной динамик с двойной прорезью. Направленного к пользователю стереозвука здесь, к сожалению, получить не удастся.
На одном из коротких торцов (верхнем) находятся разъем 3.5 мм для наушников, разъем USB, слот для карты памяти MicroSD, слот для Mini SIM-карты и отверстие микрофона. Карты памяти и связи вставляются без лотков, путем защелкивания.
На противоположном коротком торце (нижнем) никаких элементов нет.
На правом торце находятся кнопка включения, сдвоенная кнопка регулировки громкости и кнопка Home (возврат на главный экран).
На противоположном длинном торце никаких элементов не размещено.
Качество материалов и их обработки хорошие. Металл достаточной толщины, шероховатый и придает планшету приятный внешний вид. Собран корпус нормально, люфтов нет, скрипов и хрустов при скручиваниях и надавливаниях минимум.
Подгонка деталей точная, все зазоры выглядят ровными и одинаковыми. Элементы управления и разъемы расположены удобно. Размер кнопок достаточен, нажимаются они нормально, с ощутимым и внятным щелчком. Установленные датчики не дают сбоев в работе.
При активном использовании корпус устройства нагревается в комфортных для восприятия пределах. Из минусов отметим лишь маркие металл и стекло передней панели.
