Вот уж какой маршрут нельзя назвать прогулочным. Вам предстоит выбрать с героем какого пола пройти по нему. Оба варианта неплохи и имеют различные характеристики.
Можно пошуметь, разбить монитор, взорвать бочку и т.д. есть парочка режимов. Это кампания и выживание, в котором чудища наступают в огромных количествах, нужно не задумываясь их косить. Тут уж полагайтесь на выдержку и точность, да и реакция должна не подвести. Проходя все по уровням, в промежутках можно посещать магазин, и пополнять запасы оружия и снаряжения. Есть возможность устанавливать персонажам имплантаты. Этот элемент РПГ позволяет развиваться и получать дополнительные преимущества.

Аркадный шутер со стратегическим видом — Alien Shooter — это одна из самых знаменитых игр про пришельцев, где вам предстоит зачистить военный комплекс, на котором давно заняли свои позиции пришельцы. Разработчики составили 10 обширных уровней с переходами между локациями, на которых вы сможете купить или добавить к главному герою оружие, броню или какие-нибудь взрывчатые «штучки».
В начале игры вам предстоит выбрать пол вашего персонажа. Мужчина будет обладать большим количеством здоровья и выносливости, а женщина будет четче и метче стрелять. Чтобы уничтожать монстров разными способами, каждый уровень из чудовищ будет «падать» оружие, с которым вы продвинетесь дальше. Другой способ получения — покупка в специальных автоматах. Патроны тоже придется покупать. Постепенно повышая уровень сложности, разработчики добавили задания: установить взрывчатку, заминировать бомбу, включить электропитание на военном комплексе. Характеристики персонажа повышаются каждый раз, когда вы вживляете имплантанты. Они могут добавить здоровья, выносливости, меткости, повысят уровень ловкости и силы. Такие аугментации разбросаны на каждом уровне. Важно их найти.
Аркаду с RPG Alien Shooter полюбили за то, что в ней нет пресловутого сюжета по уничтожению кого-либо: несмотря на то, что мы только и делаем, что убиваем, сюжет успевает раскрыться перед героем и нами. Поскольку мы играем за десантника, то роль наша — последняя: либо мы сделаем и освободим людей от пришельцев, либо умрем здесь, вместе с ними. В конце игры разработчики демонстрируют намек на сиквел: они показывают первую дыру, которую протагонист делает, чтобы забраться в здание, и мы видим, как через это отверстие пробегает маленький пришелец.
